What is PGA Junior League?

PGA Junior League is a national program sponsored by the PGA of America that was launched in 2011. University Ridge has been involved with the program since 2016. In our first season, we started with 12 junior golfers. Since then, our program has grown to 45-50 juniors consistently for the past 5 seasons. For the past three seasons we have kept our program “In House”. This means that all practices and matches are played at University Ridge so that we can run matches with any format that we choose. At the end of the season, we will hand pick 8 juniors that best represent our program to compete in the PGA Junior League State Championship.

NEW FOR 2026!
For the 2026 season, each team will have the opportunity to play one traveling match against another PGA Junior League team at their facility. Your team will also host that same team in a match on a Sunday evening as well.

Team Practice Schedule

For the 2026 season U-Ridge will have 4 “teams” that will have 10 practices at consistent times throughout the year. The maximum number of players on a team is 12. Juniors need to pick one team and only attend those practices to ensure that we keep the student to teacher ratio.

* The week of July 26^th will be used as a practice rainout week if needed.

Match Schedule

There are 7 total home matches and 1 away match. Tee times on Sundays at U-Ridge will go from 4:00 – 5:30pm. Tee times and format vary throughout the year. TBD One away match scheduled by your coach against another facility. Home match dates with tentative formats are as follows:
