How can I reserve a tee time?

Tee times can be reserved online by clicking “Book A Tee Time” on universityridge.com and following the directions to our on-line booking engine. A credit card will be required to hold a tee time, but payment will be paid at the course on the day of play. Credit card on file will only be charged if there is a no show or fewer golfers paid than what was reserved.

What is your cancellation policy?

The quantity of golfers reserved and the on–line price quoted will be charged at the golf course on the day of play. If the golfer reserving the tee time has any questions about the on–line rate that is quoted, please call the golf shop at (608) 845–7700.

Cancellations must be made at least 24–hours prior to the tee time and there will be no fees/charges for these cancellations. Cancellations or reduction(s) within 24–hours, but outside of 2–hours of reservation will be charged for and a rain check for the value of the reductions will be provided. Player reductions and cancellations within 2–hours of the reservation(s) will be charged and no rain check/refund offered.

How do I cancel or reduce players to my tee time?

When reserving a tee time, you will setup a username & password to create an account. After you have reserved a tee time and are logged in, it will show up in your pending reservations. You can reduce or cancel tee time(s) in your pending reservations as long as it is outside of 24 hours of tee time. If within 24 hours of your tee time, you will need to call the golf shop at 608.845.7700 and fees may apply based on the cancellation policy dictated in the previous question.

Can my group play as a fivesome or more per tee time? If my group is less than four, will we get paired up? Can I have a ride-along or a caddy?

Maximum of four players per tee time and singles, twosomes, and threesomes should be expected to be paired up. Guests who are not golfing will not be permitted to walk or ride along with golfers or walk the cart paths of University Ridge. Each golfer must have his/her own golf bag and clubs.

Can I bring food & beverage to the golf course to consume during my round of golf?

Please feel free to bring on your own water and stay hydrated throughout the round! Any other food and beverage, including any alcohol products, are strictly prohibited from being brought onto the property. Check out About Us/W Grill for food and beverage options!

I have a combination of UW Madison student(s), Ridge Club member(s), guest(s), etc. in my golfing group, how do I reserve and get quoted the correct rate?

In this scenario, please call the golf shop at 608.845.7700 and one of our staff members will guide you through the booking process to quote the proper rates.

What is the expected pace of play at University Ridge?

Four and a half hours when playing 18 holes.
