Night Skiing!

Thanks to our friends at Madnorski, University Ridge will be offering night skiing four days a week! 5 kilometers of trails on the popular Zimmer loops will be marked with solar spot lights. Each light emits 200 lumens of lights and lights will be spaced 30-50 yards apart. Solar lights can be slightly unreliable in certain weather conditions, and that is why we recommend that skiers should still bring head lights if possible.

Skiing at the Ridge

University Ridge derives its name from the landscape features left by the last retreating glacier. The course sits on the terminal moraine, where the Wisconsin Glacier stopped, forming the backbone of the ridge that separates the land into groups of rolling hills and valleys. A perfect place to build a golf course, but also a perfect place for Cross Country skiing! There are 17 kilometers of groomed trails winding through the 560 acres properties. Trails will be groomed for skate and classical skiing with some trails that are perfect for beginners and others that will test experienced skiers.

Current Conditions

During the ski season, we update trail conditions on a regular basis. You can find current trail conditions on the MadNorSki website.
